Spring22

April 2022 - May 2022

This kinetic origami garden is full of different flowers – one introverted, one extroverted, and one indifferent. Despite their differences, they can come together to dance.

This expressive machine uses servo motors for the flower movements and photocell sensors to detect human interaction around each flower. The various movements give life and unique personalities to each of the origami structures, mirroring the diversity within our own ecosystems that we live in.

The Arduino codes can be found here.
